The Dajuroka crew attended a recent performance of FAME at the
Lyric Theatre in Brisbane. A really engaging and at times exhilarating production. A few average performances but a couple of outstanding ones as well.
The connection was Darlene Love, (née Wright; born July 26, 1941) an American popular music singer and actress who was one of the foundation components for the Rock Musical ‘Leader of the Pack’.
Dajuroka (Jnr) played a great little role in that production and we all learnt a lot about the era that we did not know before. Seeing Darlene Love and appreciating how great a singer she was (is!) made for a great little rambling connection.
